North City is the proud host of the Belgian Waffle Ride, a road race interspersed with severe terrain and 87 kilometers of what the organizers describe as ‘unroads’ — everything from dirt roads to bad roads to things that aren’t roads. Apart from the riders taking on the challenge of one of America’s most unique cycle races, the Belgian Waffle Ride is an invitation to everyone with Draft Republic at the center of festivities. The Belgian Waffle is sponsored by Lost Abbey Brewery, a Belgian inspired brewery so expect delicious beer and of course warm Belgian waffles.
